A great piece of art doesn’t just sit on the wall , it changes the energy of the whole room.

Commissioning a painting is such an exciting way to bring something truly personal into your space.

My job is to interpret the brief and create something original just for you.

I don’t recreate past paintings, even if I wanted to, I couldn’t ! Each piece comes together through an intuitive process of layering, and responding to what’s unfolding. That’s what makes every painting unique.

A brief outline of the commissioning process

• An initial discussion to outline your vision , ideas and preferences.

• This could take place in your home (or location of the painting) if you are in Leeds or Harrogate or on a video call.

• Guidance on choosing a colour palette and any personal elements that you'd like me to interpret.

• Selecting the size for the space, based on a specific wall or room .

•   I'll then send you a quote and, once agreed a 50% deposit secures the commission.

• Time scale is 12 weeks at a minimum depending on what is required.

• Due to the way I work, paintings undergo many changes built up of many layers. When I feel the painting has sufficiently come together and is ready to share, I will send photographs and we can either decide it is finished & ready for varnishing or I can make changes as required.

The following are my standard sizes but I am happy to discuss bespoke canvas sizes.
